MoVA OUTREACH SERVICES PROJECT In 1997, MoVA established the "MoVA Outreach Services Project" with the assistance of funding from the State Services to Victims Fund, administered through the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The primary focus of this project is to offer assistance to rural underserved counties in Missouri as they seek to establish or enhance victim advocacy services. To date, MoVA has provided training to programs or designated contact persons in nearly forty Missouri counties, and worked with at least twenty-six counties in starting or enhancing victim service programs. Announcing MOVA Networking Seminars At your request we are re-instituting the regional MOVA Networking Seminars for victim service providers and related fields. Many of you told us how much you benefited from coming together for a short seminar and brainstorming with other providers. As always the out-reach services have no fee and anyone is welcome. need your name(s) and a contact number. Seminars will be from noon to 3 p.m. – Starting off with a networking lunch followed by the program.
